The anisotropic textile brace is a tight-fitting soft brace designed to manage moderate cases of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Its purpose is to prevent the progression of spinal curvature by exerting corrective forces to the apex of the spine curvature.

This project aims at enhancing the performance on the design of the Anisotropic textile brace designed for moderate adolescents who are suffered from idiopathic scoliosis. Also, by evaluating the short- and long-term effect of the textile brace, it is hoped to further develop the textile brace and benefit those who are not adopted to the rigid brace.
